PART TIME RECEPTIONIST

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Part Time Receptionist to join our professional Legal Team. The hours for this role would be from 1pm – 5pm, Monday – Friday which accumulates to 20 hours a week; however some flexibility will be required to cover holidays working full time 9am – 5pm at such times. Whilst Legal experience would be advantageous it is not essential.

This is a great role for someone looking for a that job where every day is different.

The following skills are desirable: –

  • Organised and able to think laterally
  • Great communicator
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise efficiently
  • Able to adapt and be respectful of client’s needs and priorities
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Good IT Skills in particular MS packages
  • Proficient typing abilities  

 Responsibilities and Duties

  • Being the first point of contact for all external clients and visitors showing a level of care required for their needs and making them feel welcome
  • Manage incoming email enquiries and online enquiries
  • Making sure the meeting rooms are booked efficiently
  • Arranging couriers
  • Answering and forwarding phone calls, taking messages and forwarding by email
  • Screening phone calls
  • Ensuring deliveries reach the relevant person
  • Occasional digital dictation
  • Taking card payments and providing a high level of security of the card holders details
  • Obtaining Photo ID for AML verification purposes
  • Scanning and photocopying
  • Any other ad hoc requirements as advised by the team

Qualifications and Skills

A high level of English qualification

An administration/typing qualification

At least 2 years reception experience
